it cannot be stressed enough that right now - RIGHT NOW - is the time to farm about 65K in honor (it actually goes very quickly) and buy an entire S2 set. well if you already have some Tier 4 or Tier 5 gear, you will not need all 65K of honor; however, if you are thinking about how you can gear up so that we can get back to raiding Kara a lot — S2 is equivalent to Tier 5 and Kara is really only a Tier 4-level instance so the gear will really help you and the guild.
of course, S2 pvp gear is not a replacement for appropriate pve gear; however, “tier 5″ pvp gear is more than better than the “pre-Kara” gear you would attempt to accumulate in order to be ‘kara-ready’ and able to contribute to downing bosses. not only that, but ‘farming’ the S2 gear will take a much shorter timeframe than gathering the pre-kara pve set.
if you are a tanking role - see Jacofox or Ironhelm about gemming, enchant needs and other advice as S2 has to be set up correctly in order to mitigate you being critted. other than that, the gear is more than going to help you ease into Kara - or progress if you are already there.
get to 70, BG farm honor, buy S2, start raiding to gather your pve set!
to make it even easier, in a matter of days we are going to start doing BGs as a scheduled item so that you can farm even more honor by being in groups of our own guildies in the BGs.
